Snow Threatens FTHS ZUMBATHON

A look at events happening in Freehold on Tuesday December 10, 2013.

The members of the Freehold Township High School Dance Team may be ready to show off their ZUMBA skills this afternoon but Mother Nature may have other ideas.

Depending on how much snow we get a scheduled Zumbathon at the school may be postponed. If the snow holds out long enough the event is scheduled to start at 3:30 with proceeds being used to buy the team new uniforms.

A winter weather advisory is in effect today with between two and four inches expected to fall across our area. The National Weather Service is calling for a high of just 35 degrees during the day before a mostly clear night with a low close to 20 degrees. The advisory stretches from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. with the bulk of the snow expected to fall between dawn and the afternoon.
