Thanksgiving Pot Luck Thursday in Freehold

A look at events happening in Freehold on Thursday November 21, 2013.

Thanksgiving is a week away but at least one Freehold business is getting a head start on the festivities.

The Learning Experience on Route 9 will be hosting an open house and Potluck Thanksgiving event starting at 3:30 on Thursday afternoon. Construction is well underway in the parking lot near the building so participants are asked to use the entrance by Provident Bank. The event is  a chance to learn more about the facility and what they do to serve the community while coming together for a meal.

The National Weather Service is calling for a partly sunny day with a high near 50 according to the latest forecast. The temperature is expected to dip slightly at night with a low near 39 on a mostly cloudy night. The clouds are not expected to bring showers to our area until at least Friday night if not Saturday.
