Township Zoning Board Meeting Thursday Night

A look at events happening in Freehold on Thursday January 23, 2014.

After at least a full day of being snowed in the Freehold Township Zoning Board of Adjustment is scheduled to return to its regular work on Thursday night.

This marks the second meeting of the month for the board with a light agenda posted on the township website. There are two applications scheduled to go before the board by homeowners on Canterbury Drive looking to build three car detached garages on their property.

The National Weather Service has not ruled out a chance of snow but during the day it should be partly sunny with a high of just 23 degrees. With the wind chill it could feel as low as six degrees below zero. Snow could return after 4 p.m. and continue until around midnight. A low temperature of around eight degrees at night could feel like four below with a total accumulation of one inch of snow possible before it is done.
