Holiday fun is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. and run until 7 p.m. as the two symbols stand next to each other in the heart of Freehold Borough.

Also on Tuesday the Freehold Art Society Holiday Exhibit and Sale is scheduled to start at the New Jersey Resources Building in Wall. The exhibit is in the building’s cafeteria on the second floor and is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

As the sun goes down and the tree gets lit the temperature could dip to around 36 degrees on a mostly clear night. There is a developing chance of snow for the weekend, likely starting around Sunday according to the latest forecast.
