Live Karaoke Parties are the New Trend in Entertainment

There is a new form of entertainment that is gaining popularity across New Jersey and the tri-state area.  It's called LiveKaraoke, and it's becoming a fast-growing favorite at bars and private parties.  Live Karaoke is a twist on an old party favorite that combineskaraoke singing with live musicians.  Instead of singing over computerized or prerecorded music, you get to have a real musician or band back you up.
New Jersey Singer Songwriter Anthony Xerri hosts a Live Karaoke night on alternating Saturdays at Paul's Tavern in Belmar, NJ.  Without the use of computers, Xerri provides participants with lyrics to over 250 of their favorite songs.  "Live Karaoke adds intimacy to any party or event by involving guests in a very real way," says Xerri.  Where regular karaoke machines fail, Xerri guides the singer along, helping him or her to stay on key, find their rhythm and hit their cues.  He even provides vocal support when needed.  And of course, playing with real musicians lets the singer feel more like a rock star!
