Lunch Break will host counselors to offer information and enrollment assistance for anyone who is interested in finding and signing up for affordable health insurance through The Health Insurance Marketplace—a new way to find coverage that fits your budget and meets your needs. Whether you are uninsured, or just want to explore your choices, the Marketplace will help find coverage that’s right for you.
The counselors will be at Lunch Break on March 12, 19, and 26, from Noon until 6 p.m. The open enrollment period will end March 31, 2014, so now is the time to learn more and sign up for affordable health insurance.
Here is what you will need to bring with you if you want to apply with help from the counselors:
Social Security Numbers (or document numbers for legal immigrants) of anyone to be covered
Birth dates of those to be covered
Employer and income information for everyone in your household who needs coverage (for example, pay stubs or W-2 forms—wage and tax statements)
Policy numbers for any current health insurance plans covering members of your household
Information about any health insurance you or your family could get from your jobs
If you have any questions about these three opportunities to find out more about The Health Insurance Marketplace, please contact Sharda Jetwani, Lunch Break’s program director, at 732-784-7360 or online at firstname.lastname@example.org
