Bereavement Support
Tuesdays, July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m.
AND Tuesdays, July 8 and 22 from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.
Learn what to expect in the grieving process and how to deal with your expectations as well as the expectations of others in this group, sponsored by Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and the Ocean County Office of Senior Services. Facilitated by Kathleen Holahan, MSW, LCSW, this group is held at the Center for Healthy Living, located at 198 Prospect Street in Lakewood. Caregivers Support Group
Tuesdays, July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 from noon to 2 p.m.
AND Wednesdays, July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m.
This ongoing weekly support group is open to anyone who is caring for a person age 60 or older living in Ocean County. It is sponsored by Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and the Ocean County Office of Senior Services. Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group
Wednesdays, July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Offered by Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, this free ongoing support group helps participants learn and share with others facing the unique challenges of being a “grandfamily.” Facilitated by Kathleen Holahan, MSW, LCSW, this group is held at the Center for Healthy Living, located at 198 Prospect Street in Lakewood. Diabetes Support Group
Wednesday, July 30 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Living with diabetes can be challenging, but we can help. Join the Center for Healthy Living at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus for a free support group to learn how to manage your blood glucose and continue enjoying the foods you love. Share with others the challenges and victories of daily glucose management. This free group is supported by Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and partially funded by the Ocean County Office of Senior Services and will be held at the Center for Healthy Living, located at 198 Prospect Street in Lakewood.
