“THE CHILD” PARENTAL RIGHTS DOCUMENTARY COMES TO FREEHOLD
June 23 at All Seasons Diner II. “The Child,” exposes the battle between the rights of a parent and the ‘authority’ of the government to raise and educate children. The film will be followed by a discussion/Q&A led by ParentalRights.org’s NJ state director, Victoria Jakelsky.
The dangerous state of parental rights in America is the subject of a revealing new documentary film, THE CHILD, a film that takes on the underreported assault on parents and their right to raise, educate and care for their own children.
The New Jersey screening of THE CHILD will be held on Monday, June 23 at 7:00 pm at the All Seasons Diner II Banquet Room in Freehold, NJ. The screening, hosted by Freedomfest USA, will include a discussion and Q&A led by ParentalRights.org state director, Victoria Jakelsky.
“THE CHILD,” according to director Grace Tate, “features interviews with experts, leaders and, sadly, parents and children who have already experienced the pain and consequences of misguided government intervention in their family.”
“There are people who think they know better how to raise your children than you do, and they want the power to do so,” says Michael Farris, founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association and ParentalRights.org, an organization that seeks to protect the rights of parents and their children.
“THE CHILD presents a sweeping and sobering picture of the threats against the child-parent bond in America,” says Farris.
Following the screening, Victoria Jakelsky will lead a discussion and offer insights into possible solutions that are currently being explored on both the state and national level. Jakelsky is a leader in the Parental Rights movement and has spoken across the state about this threat to parents and their children.
All Season Diner II is located at 4135 U.S. Highway 9 in Freehold, NJ. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and food will be available. While there is no charge for admission, donations will be accepted at the door to offset the cost of the screening. For more information on the film itself, go to www.ParentalRights.org.
