Casagrande's Postcard from Israel to Patch Readers

From 5,600 miles away, legislator reaches out to her constituents.

NJ Assemblywoman Caroline Casagrande (R-Monmouth) is blogging on Patch from Israel, where she is visiting with other legislators in Project Interchange

Her first post touches on her impressions of the people, culture, and relationships between countries in the Middle East, and includes photos. Casagrande, a Colts Neck resident who represents the 11th District in the state General Assembly, says she'll tell us more throughout the week.

Blogging on Patch is an effective (and free) way for elected officials to keep in touch with constituents about their activities and share information and perspectives. Start your own blog on your hometown Patch by looking for the "Who's Blogging" module at the bottom of the homepage, and click "Start Blogging."
