CentraState Delivers Monmouth's First Baby of the New Year

Mikayla Elizabeth Denver was born at 1:57 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1.

Two Freehold residents brought in 2013 by becoming parents and welcoming in the first baby born in the New Year in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Noelle Deluccio and Nick Dever welcomed their first baby, Mikayla Elizabeth Dever, weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces, at CentraState Medical Center shortly before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1. Mikayla was delivered naturally by Elizabeth Scheff, MD, ob/gyn, of Healthy Woman Ob/Gyn, CentraState announced in a press release.

CentraState presented the Dever family with a $100 Visa gift card, balloons and a stuffed animal to celebrate the birth of their daughter.
