CentraState Healthcare Foundation Names 2012 Celebration Ball Winners

Caitlin MacDonald of Marlboro was named the 51st Annual Celebration Ball Queen. The two runners-up for Ball Queen were Morgan Klapouchy and Sarah Keane of Freehold.

Over 300 guests attended CentraState Healthcare Foundation’s 51st Annual Celebration Ball on Saturday, Jan. 19. The affair, titled Fire and Ice, was held at Encore Event Center and included a silent auction, dinner and dancing to The Eric Marshall Band from New York City.

Guests enjoyed a post-dinner opportunity to for some hands-on fun at iPlay America, adjacent to Encore. All funds raised from the event were dedicated to the Cancer Navigator Program at CentraState’s Cancer Center.

During the event, CentraState Healthcare Foundation crowned the 2012 Celebration Ball Queen, Caitlin MacDonald of Marlboro. The two runners-up for Ball Queen were Morgan Klapouchy and Sarah Keane of Freehold.

Celebration Ball Queen contestants were asked to fundraise for the Cancer Center and the contestant who is the most successful fundraiser is crowned the Celebration Ball Queen. To raise funds and spread awareness of the project, contestants attended local community and CentraState events throughout the summer. Three of the contestants were also awarded scholarships based on academic excellence and other community involvement. In total, the 10 contestants raised over $30,000 for CentraState’s Cancer Navigator Program.
