Freehold Area CROP Walk for Hunger

The Freehold Area CROP Walk for Hunger, sponsored by the Freehold Clergy Association, an interfaith organization, will be held on Sunday, October 21st beginning and ending at St. Peter Episcopal Church, with registration at 1:30 and the walk at 2 PM.  Three mile and mini-walk routes are marked out in neighborhoods around the Freehold neighborhood.  Sponsorship forms are available at Hope Lutheran Church, 211 Elton Adelphia Road.  On-line contributions can also be gathered and accepted at www.cropwalk.org, by clicking on New Jersey and selecting the Freehold Walk.  Walkers are asked to bring a jar of peanut butter for a food pantry as their price of admission, together with their pledges.  All walkers sponsored by pledges will receive a T-shirt.  The Walker with the highest pledge total at start time will be the Walk Marshall.  Walkers with $200 or more on the day of the walk will receive a CROP cap.  25% of the funds raised will be returned to Freehold Open Door and Joshua House food pantries.  For more information, to become a donor or walker or enlist a group, call Pastor Pat Medley at 732-462-7545.  This event is a rain or shine event!
