Fall Weather Arrives a Week Early

Highs in the 70's expected for this week.

The official start of fall is not for another week but it will feel a lot like autumn in our area according to the National Weather Service.

The high temperature for the week is not expected to reach into the 80’s with lows dipping into the 40’s at night according to the most recent forecasts. The best chance of rain for the week is today between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. with a high near 71 and a 40 percent chance of rain. The amount of precipitation is not expected to be more than a tenth of an inch.

By tonight the clouds should start to part with a low of 51 before a sunny day tomorrow and a high near 68 degrees. The low for Monday night is expected to be around 51 before rising up near 68 on Tuesday during the day and a low of 48 at night.

Wednesday looks to be another sunny day with a high near 70 during the day at a low around 54 when the sun goes down. By Thursday the temperature will rise to a high near 77 with a low of 58 at night. That trend should continue through the weekend.
