Freehold Jewish Center Announces Date of Centennial Celebration

The (FJC) has announced the date of its Centennial Celebration, which will take place Saturday, Oct. 29.

Public Input Sought on Affordable Housing Issues

Monmouth County is seeking input on the ability to find affordable housing. The information gathered will be included in the county’s “Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice” plan required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The plan will help the county identify issues faced by residents that restrict their ability to find affordable housing and arrive at solutions to address these issues.

The first public forum will take place at the Hall of Records building on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Additional forums will be held on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Keyport Borough Hall; Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Monmouth County Library, Eastern Branch; and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Neptune Township Municipal Building.

Meetings

The Freehold Township Youth Guidance Council meets at Town Hall at 6:45 p.m. Monday.

The Freehold Township Fire Prevention Board will meet at 7 p.m.

Support Groups

The will hold its monthly meeting for cancer patients and their families at on Monday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Greater Monmouth Family Members & Caregivers Support Group will meet at CentraState Medical Center from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The meets at CentraState Medical Center from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
