Animal Rescue Group Honoring 'Napoleon Dynamite' Star Jon Heder

Fundraising dinner to be held in February in Tinton Falls.

A local animal rescue organization is adding some star power to its annual dinner and gift auction next month when Jon Heder of "Napoleon Dynamite" fame is honored by the All Fur Love Animal Rescue.

The dinner, which is set to be held on February 6 at the Doubetree Hotel in Tinton Falls will also recognize Debbie DeLisa, who manages the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. The two are being recognized for being advocates of animal rescue during a fundraiser for the no-kill, all-volunteer efforts of All Fur Love throughout Monmouth, Mercer, Middlesex and Ocean Counties.

Francesca Alexander, who serves as the President of the Board of Trustees said the dinner figures to be a memorable event for the organization and help them in their work in the community. “We are delighted to honor Jon and Debbie for their work in support of animal rescue,” she said. “They share our goals and our mission - to provide each animal that crosses our paths proper veterinary care and eventually, a forever home.”

Alexander said in one year All Fur Love found homes for 121 four-legged friends and have more to share with loving families. She added that 100 percent of donations help them to save more lives of animals in need of places to live.
