Olde Freehold Day Coming to Lake Topanemus Park

Event will feature bands, fishing derby, triathlon, treasure hunt and more.

Olde Freehold Day will return to Lake Topanemus Park on Saturday, some 35 years after the event first launched. The free day of family fun is scheduled for Saturday, July 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, July 31.

Live music will be a focal point of the event, with classic area bands from Olde Freehold Day’s 1970s heyday sharing the stage with up-and-coming performers. The musicians slated to perform include Step Aside, The Eddie Testa Band, The Space Crickets, the Olde Freehold Day All Star Band, Jason Iverson, and the Trademarks.

Olde Freehold Day will also feature a variety of activities for all age groups. The lake will be stocked with blue gill and bass fish for a fishing derby for children under 12 years old.
