While Mother Nature has not made the weather feel like spring, Freehold Borough is kicking off the season with their annual Easter Egg Hunt.
On Saturday, March 23 egg hunt participants will gather at the Park Avenue Elementary School at 10 a.m. to search the ground for Easter Eggs.
“I have been told, that people should not be late because at 10:10 it’s done,” explained Freehold Borough Councilman Michael DiBenedetto. “The kids just run so fast to get those eggs, so you have to show up on time.”
According to the National Weather Service, Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high of 46. In case of rain, the Easter Egg Hunt will be rescheduled for Saturday, March 30.
