Rain Makes Way For Mild Weather This Week

Highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s in the forecast this week.

It was a beautiful summer weekend in our area with lots of sunshine making it a great time to get out and enjoy some fresh air. The National Weather Service is predicting a break in the sunshine with a few days of rain ahead for us.

There is at least a 20 percent chance of showers during the day today with a high temperature of 82 predicted before the sunset. The chance of rain increases to 40 percent tonight when the low temperature is expected to drop to around 68 degrees.

Rain is expected to continue tomorrow with a slightly higher of 83 degrees expected before a low of 60 Tuesday night. The chance of showers is set to be around 50 percent on Tuesday night but by Wednesday morning the clouds are expected to part for a sunny Wednesday with a high near 78 degrees.

Heading into the second half of the week the low for Wednesday is predicted to be an almost chilly 59 degrees. The high temperature for Thursday is expected to be around 79 degrees on a partly cloudy day before a low of 60 on Thursday night. Sunshine is expected to continue on Friday with a high near 80 before a low near 62 after sunset.
