It may be after Labor Day but it will still feel a whole lot like summer as school starts for most students around our area today. The National Weather Service is calling for a hot week with a chance of showers likely in the middle of the week.
The high for today should be only around 73 with a low of 63 tonight and a 20 percent chance of showers. By Tuesday the high will increase to around 85 before the sun sets and the temperature drops down to a low of 69.
Wednesday looks to be the hottest day of the week with a high near 92 and a low of 71 at night. The temperature continues to drop Thursday with a still warm high of 87 before a chilly low of 60 at night.
Heading into the weekend the high for Friday is expected to be around 75 before a low of 51 when the sun goes down.
