VIDEO: Haunted Hayride Through Freehold

Ghouls and goblins took over Freehold Saturday for the annual Halloween Spooktacular Haunted Hayride. The free event drew over 1,200 people. Volunteers and homeowners along the hayride route developed skits to scare riders. Those waiting on line were treated to free food from the Tinton Falls Applebee's and beverages provided by the .
The hayride is one of six events that comprise the Freehold Halloween Spooktacular. The next event, the annual jack-o-lantern contest, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the .
