Wednesday Showers Break Up Sunny Forecast

A look at the forecast for the week.

Booming thunderstorms worked their way through the area Sunday and the National Weather Service says it should be the last wet weather we see for at least a few days.

The forecast for today calls for a mostly sunny day with a high near 83 and clear night with a low near 63. Tuesday looks to be much of the same with a slightly higher max on Wednesday at around 86 according to the most recent predictions.

There is a 30 percent chance of showers on Wednesday night with a low of 68 before a high of 85 on Thursday with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Thursday night’s low looks to be around 69 with a 40 percent chance of showers.

By Friday the storms should pass but the warm temperatures remain with a high near 87 before a low of 69 at night.
