Winter Storm Watch Issued Through Tuesday

Anywhere between 4 and 7 inches of snow could fall in our area.

A clearer picture is starting to form as to what Tuesday’s storm is looking like for our area and according to the National Weather Service, it does not look good.

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for much of our area through late Tuesday night. The most recent projections call for anywhere between four and seven inches could fall starting on Tuesday morning and carrying into the evening.

The heaviest snowfall is expected to fall in the afternoon and into the evening which could make for hazardous travel particularly during the evening commute. Adding to the difficult conditions is the wind expected to come with the storm. The wind is expected to reach between 10 and 20 MPH with gusts possibly as high as 35 MPH.
