"It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" at Center Players

Center Players will be traveling back to the 1940s and the golden age of Old-Time Radio for five performances of "It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" directed by Anthony Greco of Ocean Township.

Inspired by the classic holiday film, "It's a Wonderful Life" is performed as a 1940s radio broadcast in front of a live studio audience featuring onstage Foley sound effects, vintage radio equipment, period costuming & radio commercials all set to the soothing sounds of your favorite holiday standards. A handful of actors gather on Christmas Eve, 1946, to perform the dozens of characters to bring this heart-warming tale to life.

The cast includes Jeff Cox of Brick as George Bailey, Yvette Cataneo of Freehold as Mary Bailey, Jack Rosmarin of Monrganville as Clarence, Jack Welsh of Freehold as Henry F. Potter, and features the talents of Jeff Caplan of Manchester, David Harris of Red Bank, Kasiann Sweeney of Colts Neck, Leslie Hochman of Matawan, Payton Lamp of Tinton Falls, Brooke Salamone of Freehold.

Tickets cost $25, $23 for seniors and students.
