Monmouth County Fair
This year's Monmouth County Fair is scheduled for July 25-29 at the East Freehold Showgrounds, 1500 Road in Freehold.
This year's fair promises shows and attractions such as Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, Robinson’s Racing Pigs, the Tommie Turvey Equestrian Extreme Show, a Petting Farm, Climbing Wall, Dock Dogs, Home and Garden Competition, Monmouth County Park System Interactive Displays, Living History Tent with Interactive Displays (see schedule), 4-H Events & Animal Exhibits - (See schedule), food, crafters, and commercial vendors.
An Outdoor Entertainment Area Adventure Show will be set up July 25-27 and will include the Hell on Wheels BMX Stunt Show, a Skateboarding Stunt Show, Raptor Project - Birds of Prey, Howell Ice World and Shoot the Goon .
Activities at the Kids Zone on July 28 will include kids races, a splash zone, nature zone, golf and inflatables.
A Pet Zone on July 28 will offer seeing eye puppy training, County Sheriff K-9 Unit demonstrations, a dog rally demonstration, adog agility demonstration, dog lure coursing demonstration and Frisbee dogs.
The Antique Auto Show will be held 3-6 p.m. on July 29 and will feature a roadway obstacle course, toy car races and a scavenger hunt.
Live music will be provided by the Amish Outlaws, beginning at 8:30 p.m. on July 25; Brian Kirk and the Jirks beginning at 8:30 p.m. on July 26;
Jaida Dreyer beginning at 9 p.m. on July 27; Slippery When Wet beginning at 8:30 p.m. on July 28.

Other entertainment will include Name that Tune at 3 p.m. on July 28, 3D Ritmo de Vida at noon and 1:30 p.m. on July 29, the Clown n' Circus All-Star Review at 4:15 p.m. on July 29.
Hours for the Fair are: 5-11 p.m., Wed.-Fri.; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Admission costs $7, kids 12 and under are admitted free. Free admission for ages 65 and older on July 29. Free parking.
