Fall Concert Series Returns Next Week

The Nerds, After the Reign highlight concerts in downtown Freehold.

Following the success of the Summer Concert Series the downtown Freehold area will come to life again with the second annual Fall Concert Series starting next week.

The downtown area will be rocking when The Nerds come to town on September 18 followed by the Amish Outlaws on September 25. The first concert of October is scheduled to come from Screaming Broccoli on the second day of the month with country music from After the Reign set for October 9. The series will wrap up on October 16 with Bobby & the Jets with the following week reserved as a rain date for the series.

Christina DeGuilis, Marketing and Events Coordinator said she expects another exciting series of music for the public to enjoy. “Free outdoor concerts with energetic, professional bands are perennial crowd pleasers,” she said. “Our guests continue to tell us how much they love not only watching the bands play outdoors, they love the acts we bring in.”

Concerts are scheduled to be held in front of the Hall of Records starting at 7 p.m. and parking for the shows is free.
