63 E. Main St. Owner Receives Permit to Open Gas Station

HRS Investments has been seeking approval to build a 7-Eleven on the property.

The site of a proposed 7-Eleven may soon house a gas station. The property owner of 63 E. Main St., HRS Investments, received a permit from the Freehold Borough Code Enforcement Office to reopen a gas station on the property, attorney Mark Williams of confirmed Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Williams said he picked up an approved permit on behalf of the applicant late last week.

The site once held a gas station but has been vacant in recent years. HRS Investments has an application before the Planning Board to develop a 7-Eleven on the property.
