Beat the Heat With a Free Slurpee to Celebrate 7-11

Location on Schanck Road one of several around the state offering freezing cold treat.

The National Weather Service says that today, July 11, the temperature could climb up as high as 92 degrees. For Freehold residents looking to cool down there may be just the place to do that on Schanck Road.

In honor of it being July 11, 7-Eleven stores across the state, including right here in Freehold, will be giving away free 7.11-ounce Slurpees to the hot and thirsty customers.

This has become an annual tradition for the convenience store chain. "7-Eleven Day and giving away free Slurpee beverages is our way of thanking customers for their patronage throughout the year and showing appreciation for their support," said Jesus Delgado a vice president with the company in a press release.
