Located in Freehold and Colts Neck, Healthy Woman OB/GYN offers a variety of unique services to woman from all over Monmouth and surrounding counties.

When it comes to health, women have a ton of options on where to go and how to care for themselves. However, 40,000 women from Monmouth and surrounding counties have been traveling to Freehold and Colts Neck for one local business that caters to all of their needs.

Healthy Woman is an OB/GYN that specializes in helping women of all ages stay healthy emotionally, physically and psychologically through personal, individualized health care services. With two Monmouth County locations, patients have an option on where to receive care, at the main headquarters in Freehold, or the satellite office in Colts Neck.

“Our clients have a choice on where they would like to receive care,” explained Erin Ward, Marketing and Business Development at Healthy Woman OB/GYN “Freehold is the larger office. In Freehold we have three pods that include three examination rooms as well as doctor’s offices. We are able to see a much larger patient population have at least one or two doctors at the Colts Neck office at all times.”

Healthy Woman is made up of seven board certified doctors, six of whom are a part of an all-woman labor and delivery team. The office even has a doctor on staff that specializes in robotic surgery, which accord to Ward is very unique.

“We have a couple patients that travel quite far to see our doctors. We are an all woman labor and delivery team and our doctors are absolutely phenomenal. With their compassion and care for their patients, they are able to connect with people on a different level, it is a great group.”

In addition to the all-woman labor and delivery team and robotics doctor at Healthy woman, the office offers a wide variety of other services that make Healthy Woman a one-stop shop for all things relating to women’s health.

“We are very unique in that we have a Pregnancy Connect program and a Maternity Concierge who is basically your ‘go-to’ woman for anything to do with your pregnancy before, during, and after.”

According to Ward, the maternity concierge will set up appointments for patients and is their contact for all questions from ‘I am feeling this pain, what does this mean?’ to ‘should I buy this for the crib?’.

“We are also able to recommend pediatrics groups and specialty doctors that we work very closely with in the area, for those needing additional medical attention,” said Ward.

Outside the office, the staff of Healthy Woman continues to help the community by getting involved in local causes.

“Healthy Woman is very involved in the local community. We really strive to be a part of the community and help out where we can, like with . We are also very active in different events for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as well as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month."

Despite the many services that go on at Healthy Woman, a patient’s experience at the office is still the number one priority. Healthy Woman employs many professionals including medical assistants, front desk and their very own billing department.

“It is a very large office but we want our patients to have the very best experience. When a business is understaffed it takes longer to answer phones and pull charts and that means the patient has to wait. Our patient’s experience here is our number one priority, and we want every patient to have a great experience,” said Ward.

Healthy Woman also offers ways to help woman who are not their patients by being a local voice on Freehold Patch and neighboring Patch sites. Be sure to check out their newest blogs in our local voices section.
