Last Chance: Dine Downtown Freehold to Support the Parade

From May 7-9, three Freehold Borough restaurants will donate 10% of your pre-tax food bill to support the Freehold Memorial Day Parade. Alcoholic beverages are not included.

According to the Freehold Memorial Day Parade website, the annual march is the oldest and largest such parade in Western Monmouth County. Every year, more than 70 groups participate each year. The parade features many military units, veterans groups, bands, fire departments, EMS squads, youth groups, custom designed floats and civilian units.

The 138th will be held on Monday, May 28th, 2012. The parade will step off at Brinkerhoff Avenue promptly at 10 am. Check-in for groups marching in the parade will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the corner of Brinkerhoff Avenue and Main Street in Freehold.
