Microsoft Store Hosts Grand Opening Concert Featuring CeeLo Green, Lupe Fiasco

NY Giant fans will also get to play Kinect with Wide Receiver Victor Cruz on Sunday, June 10.

Music artists CeeLo Green and Lupe Fiasco and NY Giant Victor Cruz will all be at the this weekend to celebrate the grand opening of the new Microsoft store.

The festivities will start with a grand opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 9. The Microsoft Store doors open at 10:00 a.m. after the ribbon cutting.

The first 800 people in line for the grand opening will receive two premiere-viewing tickets to the Lupe Fiasco and CeeLo Green concert scheduled for Saturday night in the Dick’s Sporting Goods parking lot at 7:00 p.m.

Fans are invited to start lining up for the opening the night before at 10:00 p.m. in the parking lot between Nordstrom and Macy’s, but no tents will be permitted.

Once fans receive their wristbands, they can go home and rest. Wristband holders can start lining up for the evenings show at 3:00 p.m. The performance space will open at 5:00 p.m. Only wristband holders will be admitted to the performance.

Victor Cruz, the wide receiver for the NY Giants, will be at the Microsoft store at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10. Customers will have a chance to meet Cruz, have their photo taken with him and receive a signed photograph. Cruz will also play Kinect with the first few customers in line in the “living room section” of the store.

Fans are invited to start lining up to play with the football star at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
