O-WOWW: Jersey Shore Star Creates a Situation at Eatontown Barnes & Noble

Fans filled the mall waiting for their turn to meet the reality show cast mate.

Before heading to Italy to begin production on the fourth season of “Jersey Shore,” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley hit the to promote her new book The Rules According to JWoWW: Shore Tested Secrets for Landing a Mint Guy, Staying Fresh to Death, and Kicking the Competition to the Curb.

Throngs of fans filled the mall outside the bookstore waiting for their turn to get a glimpse at the reality TV star. Some of the more devoted followers showed up as early as 2:30 Thursday afternoon to ensure their place in line for the book signing that night.

"She's my favorite one on the show," said Paula Blase who drove all the way up from Atlantic City for the event. "She's the only one worth traveling for."

"It's my guilty pleasure," Caitlin Garrido, of Brick, said of the show. "I love it and I get to see people that I knew in high school."

Eatontown Councilman Mark Regan was there with his daughter, Casey, 14. "They're just really funny," she said of the show, clutching her newly-signed book.

The store begin pre-selling books Thursday afternoon that included a pass for the book signing.

Bookstore representatives kept the line moving at a brisk pace with little opportuniy for picture taking for fans.

Gail Swayze of Howell, who bought five books for her teenaged daughter and friends, expressed her displeasure with how quickly they were moved through the line.

She said she spent $100 and was frustrated that she wasn't able to get a picture of her daughter with Farley.

"That's just bad publicity," she said.
