Executive Care Brings Commitment to Home Healthcare to Freehold

The home healthcare industry got a new member in our area recently when Executive Care opened its office on Adelphia road in Freehold last week.

Executive Care’s newest location will serve Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean Counties and was opened by two local businesspeople hoping to serve their local areas. Senen Cabalfin was a full time nurse before starting Special Care Community Services which worked with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families around the state. Jeff Wolf’s background is from Wall Street before building his own businesses. He is the president of Mobility Consulting & Contracting Co. which works to make renovations to homes allowing them to be more accessible to disabled residents.

Wolf said he was glad to see their latest joint venture get off the ground. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with a full-service home care franchise from New Jersey with a proven business model and deep understanding of the critical role home care is playing in the lives of Americans,” he said. “We firmly believe in Executive Care’s core values and found it to be the best home care franchise fit for us.”

The entrepreneurs said one of their main goals in all their businesses is to make their customers and clients feel as comfortable as possible at every step of the process. “This is more than just a business endeavour for me,” Cabalfin said. “Providing human services has been a way of life for me ever since I graduated nursing school.” Cabalfin’s journey started in the Philippines where she earned her nursing degree before coming to the United States with her husband close to 30 years ago.

Since that time she has received her masters degree in nursing administration and received a grant from the New Jersey Department of Human Services to work with developmentally disabled people. She has also owned and managed residential healthcare facilities throughout the southern part of the state.

Wolf’s interest in the field started a few years ago when his business modified a bathroom for a boy who was paralyzed by an injury suffered while playing Little League baseball. His passion, he said, has only grown from there. “Executive Care is a family-run business that understands in-home care serves everyone, from young children to aging adults.” He added, “As a family man, I can relate to how the company is doing business and building its base of customers - creating organic, lasting relationships in the communities it serves.”

The goal, they said is to create close to 100 jobs in the area and eventually expand into Maryland and Virginia, a goal company co-founder Lenny Verkhoglaz said should be attainable for the two driven owners. “Given its demographics and growth potential, we consider Central New Jersey a premier area to expand our home care services - and we’re thrilled to have these two talented people at the helm for this expansion.”

Executive Care was founded in 2004 and provides caregiving and skilled nursing services to help families in need. A statement from the company said their prospective caregivers go through a pre-employment screening process that includes a criminal background check, a reference check and an employment history check. The caregivers are insured, experienced and have the skills needed to do their jobs successfully.
