Restaurant Week at Freehold Raceway Mall

Specials at many restaurants make for a busy week.

Over the past year Freehold Raceway Mall has added new restaurants to their roster including Bobby’s Burger Palace and Qdoba Mexican Grill.

In honor of those new establishments and some of the longstanding favorites the mall is hosting Restaurant Week with specials for customers who go to the mall. The event will culminate with a special tasting event on Sunday near the intersection of Nordstrom and JC Penney’s with proceeds benefitting the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The first restaurant to be featured is one longest open at the mall in Ruby Tuesday. Specials include $5 appetizers at the bar between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily, $5 cocktails, $1 off all draft beer and wines from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will feature the new flatbreads and pretzel burgers. There is also a $5 bonus coupon for gift card purchases of $25 and a $15 bonus coupon with $50 gift card purchases.

Tuesday’s featured restaurant is PF Chang’s which was one of the first to open without being directly connected to the mall. Celebrating its 20th anniversary the restaurant will have a special seasonal menu with a wide variety of fall flavors including in the dessert menu.

Next to be featured is BRIO Tuscan Grille. For mentioning Restaurant Week customers can save 20 percent on their bills and take part in a special Tuscan Tasters menu Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. until close.

The culinary fun continues Thursday with The Cheesecake Factory as the featured restaurant. Happy Hour is held at the restaurant during the week from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. as well as Sunday Brunch, a catering menu and a “Skinny-licious Menu” as well.

Restaurant Week continues with a double feature on Friday with the newest restaurants at the mall. At Bobby’s Burger Palace people who order a burger and a side will receive a free soda just for mentioning Restaurant Week. Qdoba will also offer a free Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage for everyone who buys a ‘Craft Two’ meal.

The fun wraps up with special events at Nordstrom Cafe and Friendly’s Restaurant on Saturday ahead of the main event on Sunday.
