What Should the Old Verizon Store Become in Marlboro?

There are empty storefronts all around, what would you like to see come to Marlboro?

Ignore the zoning laws, the environmental restrictions, the possible traffic buildup: just play a fun game. What should be here?

This storefront, on Route 79 and Route 520 in the A&P Shopping Center, was the site of Wireless Digits which was a Verizon retailer. The storefront is surrounded by Kathy's Kafe and Dunkin Donuts on either side.

What if you had the ability to bring a business to Marlboro and put it in this empty spot?

Landlords is Marlboro are the absolute worse. Marlboro Plaza looked like a bomb riddled slum until Hobby Lobby signed a lease, Exclusive Plaza has numerous empty storefronts, and Pine Creek is totally out of business except for Dominos and the storage place. Compare this to Manalapan with all the robust shopping centers. Hey Mr. Mayor and Councilmen, instead of dumping billboards along Route 9, how about soliciting some legitimate businesses instead?

My apologies. I forgot that any property west of Tennent Road is considered Marlboro for tax purposes only.

There are a lot of houses for sale in Manalapan. I can put you in touch with a realtor and we can have a party to celebrate your new home.

Someone told me that Kathy sold it, hard to run it now since she's on her own.

Judging by your comment, you obviously live on the McMansion side of town (where the other elitist s reside)
