This popular family-friendly event begins at 5:30 pm, featuring live music, with The Rock & Roll Chorus followed by Turnstyles, featuring Freehold restaurateur Rob Kash. In addition, iPlay America will have giveaways from 6-8 pm.

"A July 4th fireworks event is a highlight of summer, and this has been the case in Freehold for generations," says Christina DeGulis, Marketing and Events Coordinator for Downtown Freehold. "Our fireworks feature music and food in a community, picnic-like setting. And unlike other July 4th fireworks shows, our event remains free to our guests. One note for attendees; pets, coolers and bicycles are prohibited to ensure safety and comfort for all."
