High School Teams in Action

Weather

According to the National Weather Service, today there will be areas of fog in the early morning followed by partly sunny skies. Temperatures are expected to reach a high near 69. Overnight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 51.

High School Sports

The tennis, softball and baseball teams will all scrimmage today. The boys tennis team will travel to Wall High School and take the court at 3:30 p.m. The softball and baseball varsity and jv teams will scrimmage against Howell High School at home today. All games will begin at 3:45 p.m.

The boys and girl track team will scrimmage today at Long Branch High School. The meet will begin at 3:45 p.m.

Support Groups

will hold a breastfeeding support group today at noon. The group will discuss breastfeeding concerns, share comments with other moms, and answer your questions. The group is facilitated by a board-certified lactation consultant and is an open forum to discuss all topics that deal with breastfeeding. Babies are welcome. Student Party

The Rocky Marciano World Foundation presents the "Bullying...We're Kickin' It Student Party". This party is free to attend and is for students between the ages 6 and 13. Attendees can relax and unwind after a week of school with games, dancing, music and activities. The party will be a fun filled event with positive mentors, in a respectful and safe atmosphere. Classes/Lectures

The CentraState Medical Center will hold a CPR class for Family and Friends. Learn CPR and how to help a choking victim in a relaxed atmosphere. This class is designed for new parents, grandparents, and the community. Participants should wear comfortable clothing. The class will begin at 7 p.m. and will cost $35 or $60 per couple.
