1. Chilly Sun: According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high near 43 degrees and a northwest wind between 10 and 14 mph. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 23 degrees and a north wind between 9 and 11 mph.

2. Readers' Choice: Patch is starting a new feature called "Readers' Choice," in which you can vote and comment on your favorites in a variety of local business and service categories. This week's category is pre-schools. Click to vote in the poll and support your favorite school!

3. Get the Scoop: The Freehold Borough PTO is hosting a scoop event this afternoon. Head to 179 South Street and get a pint of Ralph's Famous Italian Ices for a $5 donation. 100% of the sales will benefit the children of the Freehold Boro School District. Student/parent/teacher volunteers will be scooping the ice from 4-8 p.m. so be sure to stop by and show your support!

4. Bruce Fans: Local Bruce Springsteen fans know that when they attend a show in Asbury Park, no matter who is headlining the event, there's a chance Bruce will pop in for a song. 5. Youth Council: Head to the Council Meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. to see the induction of the new Youth Council. This group is made up of Freehold Borough students who will help the borough council with all of the youth events and programs happening in the borough.
