Here is a list of 5 things you need to know today:

1. Breeezy and Beautiful: According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 62 degrees. It will be breezy with a west wind 7 to 10 mph increasing to between 18 and 21 mph. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 42 degrees and a southwest wind between 8 and 10 mph.

2. Future of Freehold: The first Freehold Borough Youth Government representatives took their oath of office at the regular meeting at borough hall on March 2. 13 students, grades 7-11, from Freehold Intermediate, Freehold High School and St. John Vianney High School are participating in the program. 3. Intersection Changes: Following a that killed a Freehold woman, a member of the Howell Township Council has been working to prevent any further atalities at the intersection of Route 9 and Strickland Rd. Click to see the changes they are requesting from the state.

4. Dozens of Decks:  arrested three people for possession of heroin on Monday, Mar. 5. Police found over 40 decks of heroin between the three arrested. Click for details on these arrests.
