Baby It’s Cold Outside Coat Drive

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. The high for the day is 62 degrees and the overnight low will be 34 degrees.

The , located at 9 Broadway, will participate in the Association of NJ Chiropractors’ “Baby It’s Cold Outside” community service initiative.

From Nov. 25 through Jan. 1, the center will accept donations of coats, hats, gloves and scarves in good condition for distribution to food pantries, local community groups and charities.

The Freehold Elks Lodge will host comedy night with host Legendary Wid on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The material may not be appropriate for minors. Tickets cost $18 in advance and $20 at the door.

The Knights of Columbus will hold its monthly breakfast buffet on Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon. The breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, sausage, ham, kielbasa, potatoes, fruit salad, bagels, coffee, tea, and juice. Admission is $8 per adult and $5 per child under 12.
