Battleview Orchards Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday

Friday will be partly sunny with a high near 58 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Showers will be likely at night and the low will be around 46 degrees.
The forecast calls for a 70 percent chance of rain on Saturday. The high will be near 50 and the overnight low will be about 44 degrees.
There is a chance of showers on Sunday. The day’s high will be 56 and the overnight low will be around 37 degrees.

Battleview Orchards will hold an on Saturday at 2 p.m. for children from toddler age to 10 years old. The annual event includes over 4000 stuffed eggs hidden in a designated field of the orchard. Registration is required the day of the hunt 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at our Battleview Orchard Country Store. The orchard opens at 12:30 p.m. for parking. The Easter egg hunt will start promptly at 2 p.m. Door prizes will be given in the orchard following the hunt and refreshments will be available at the Country Store. Admission is non-perishable items to donate to a local food bank or a donation to go to a charity.
High School SportsPatriots boys tennis will play Jackson away at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Baseball and softball will take on Marlboro away at 4 p.m. Boys lacrosse will compete against Colts Neck away at 4 p.m.

Colonials boys volleyball takes on Howell at home at 3:45 p.m. On Saturday, baseball and softball host Red Bank Catholic at 11 a.m.
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?The Center Players will hold a playreading of Edward Albee’s classic Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf on Saturday promptly at 7:30 p.m. The event will be directed by Terence McNally. The suggested donation is $5.
The Freehold Elks Lodge will hold an all you can eat Sunday breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for kids age 12 years old and under.
