Brookdale’s Creative Writing Faculty to Give a Reading

Brookdale Community College creative writing faculty members Jeff Ford, Laura McCullough, Michael Broek, Derek Pollard and Suzanne Parker will read at the Western Monmouth Branch Campus at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

The Freehold Borough Shade Tree Commission will meet at Borough Hall at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians will meet at the Knights of Columbus #1672 Hall at 8 p.m.

Colonials baseball will play Wall at home on Thursday at 11 a.m.

Patriots baseball and softball take on Jackson at home at 10 a.m. The softball team will also face Middletown South at home at 2 p.m. Boys lacrosse plays Christian Brothers Academy at home at 10 a.m.

St. Rose of Lima is holding Adoration on Holy Thursday from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the chapel. Parish organizations are invited to attend at the following times: Catholic Daughters, Choir Members, Jesus, Mommy & Me, Legion of Mary, Rosary Altar Society, and St. Rose Youth Group from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Bereavement Ministers, Extraordinary Ministers, Faith Sharing Groups, Haiti Sister Parish Members, Lectors, Religious Education Teachers, and Scout Leaders from 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Faith Community Nurses, Knights of Columbus, R.C.I.A.
