CentraState Offers Free Physician Lecture On Lung Cancer

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 7 to 8 p.m.

CentraState Healthcare System, in conjunction with The Cancer Support Community, is offering the free physician lecture, Frankly Speaking About Lung Cancer, with Robert Caccavale, MD, Jean-Philippe Bocage, MD, and Joseph Pepek, MD.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 7 to 8 p.m. at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus.

While the prognosis of lung cancer is very serious, many patients are successfully treated and go on to live cancer-free lives. In fact, more than 400,000 Americans diagnosed with lung cancer are still living today. This can be attributed to earlier diagnosis and state-of-the-art surgical advancements which can even send patients home the same day.
