CentraState to Hold Emergency Blood Drive

The blood drive will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, CentraState Healthcare System will hold an emergency blood drive on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The blood drive will be held in the Central Jersey Blood Center bloodmobile, located in front of the main entrance to CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus.

Basic blood donor rules dictate that blood drive participants must be at least 16-years-old and at least 120 pounds. If you are 16, you must have parental consent. In addition, you must wait eight weeks between donations.
