Climb Time at Turkey Swamp Park

Friday will be sunny with a high near 85 degrees and an overnight low of 61, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Saturday’s NWS forecast calls for a high near 88 degrees and a low of 62.

Sunday will also be sunny with a high of 88 and an overnight low of 70 degrees.

The Monmouth County Park System will offer a free chance to try a 25-foot rock climbing wall at Turkey Swamp Park on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Freehold Farmers Market will take place Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of the Hall of Records. Vendors at the event sell fresh, locally grown produce. The participants in this year’s Freehold Farmer's Market include Kauffman Farms, Farmingdale; The Farm, Freehold; Hauser Hill Farms, Old Bridge; Trapper's Honey, Clarksburg; Pickle Licious, Teaneck; Schilke Organic Farms, Eatontown; and Rocky Brook Farm, Millstone.

The Freehold Public Library will sell books in front of the building on Fridays in July and August from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Visit the historic one-room schoolhouse on Wemrock Road during an open house on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The dates back to 1847 and was in continuous use until 1935.
