College Financial Planning Workshop at FHS

The Freehold High School PTSO is sponsoring a college financial aid planning workshop on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. at . The session will discuss how to maximize the amount of financial aid a student is eligible for.

Topics covered include tax deductions, how parent and student earnings affect financial aid, how to get ahead by developing a financial plan and what assets are taken into consideration when the Department of Education calculates your expected family contribution.

The Freehold Phrasers Toastmasters Club will meet in the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce offices in the Pinho Professional Center, 57 Schanck Road, on Wednesday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The local chapter of Toastmasters International helps its members develop their public speaking and communication skills.
