Weather

According to the National Weather Service, today will be a slight chance of rain in the afternoon followed by a chance of snow in the evening. It is possible to see snow accumulation of less than a half inch. Overnight, there is another chance of snow and gradually becoming partly cloudy. An addition snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.

High School Sports

The Freehold and wrestling teams are in action today. The Colonials will travel to Matawan and take on Matawan Regional High School tonight at 6 p.m. The Patriot wrestling team will match up against Holmdel High School tonight at home at 6 p.m.

Meetings

Freehold Township Recreation Commission will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the .

Support Groups

is having a women only AA meeting tonight at 7 p.m.

Classes/Lectures

is holding two classes/lectures today. At 1 p.m. a “Take Control of Your Health: A Chronic Disease Self Management Course” will meet. The course is part of a six week session workshop that helps people manage chronic conditions, feel better, gain control, and do the things they want to do. The other class held tonight is a Girls Grow Up course. For $18 a parent can join their daughter for a discussion from our health educator on the physical, social, chemical and emotional changes that will accompany puberty in your daughter.
