Weather

According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny, with a high near 41. Overnight, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 32.

High School Sports

The wrestling team, basketball team, and ice hockey team are all playing this afternoon. The wrestling team will match up against Holmdel High School. The team will travel to Holmdel and begin at 5 p.m. The boys and girls basketball teams will take on Toms River North High School today. The girls will play at Freehold Borough High School and take the court at 5:30 p.m. The boys will travel to Toms River North, they will begin their game at 6:30 p.m. The ice hockey team will travel to Rumson-Fair Haven and take on RFH High School at 8:15 p.m.

Support Groups

will be holding an AA meeting tonight at 8 p.m.

Health

CentraState Medical Center is offering a free skin cancer screening today from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center, 901 W. Main St. The skin cancer screening is a quick and painless, non-invasive exam. The screening is free, but space is limited and registration is required. CentraState Healthcare System is offering "Totally Healthy Kids," a fitness and nutrition class for children ages 7 to 11. The six-week series is on consecutive Monday evening’s beginning today at 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. The program costs $59 per child. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. ENVISION Parent University Session will be meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Freehold Borough High School. ENVISION: Parent University is offered as four workshops and is designed to honor, support and promote the parent’s or guardian’s role in their child’s success, safety and independence.
