Weather

According to the National Weather Service, today there will be increasing clouds, with a high near 47. Overnight, temperatures will drop for a low around 30. There will be a chance of rain and snow between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. with more snow coming after 4 a.m. New snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible.

High School Sports

The boys and girls basketball team will face off against Point Pleasant Borough High School. The girls team will take on Point Pleasant Borough at home at 5:30 while the boys will travel to Point Pleasant and take the court at 6:30 p.m.

The basketball team will take on Brick Memorial High School today. The girls team will play at home tonight at 5:30 p.m. while the boys will travel to Brick and take the court at 6:30 p.m.

Support Groups

will be holding a gamblers anonymous meeting tonight at 8 p.m.

Classes/Lectures

is holding a "Moving Up Class" today at 12:30 p.m. This class is for parents and children 6 to 12-months-old. There will be baby and parent interaction and play designed to help your child develop social and motor skills through songs and age-appropriate topics, as well as body alignment and coordination. The class costs $15, to register or for more information call 732-308-0570.

Black History Month

will be having a Black History Month Commemorative Community Program at host church tonight at 6 p.m. All are welcomed to celebrate black history through music by area choirs, soloists, and a hand bell choir. There will also be dances by two liturgical dance groups from local churches.
