The New Jersey Parent Information Resource Center will hold a 90-minute workshop at on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The session is for parents and guardians and will discuss ways to maximize a child’s education experience. Topics covered will include: communicating with schools, New Jersey School Report Cards, learning at home, and the benefits of parental involvement in education.

Another session will be held at Freehold Township High School on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.

Inspired 2 Read

The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore are hosting Inspired 2 Read, a series of free read-aloud and craft sessions for children four to six years old at the . The session takes place Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. Parents or guardians interested in attending with their children can sign up at the library or e-mail Inspired2Read@aol.com.
