Freehold Borough BOE Holds Public Hearing for Budget

School Happenings

• Freehold Borough Schools, Freehold Township Schools and students at the Freehold Regional High School District are all off this week for Spring Recess. Students will be back in the classroom on Monday, April 1.
• The Freehold Borough Board of Education (BOE) will meet on Monday, March 25 for a public hearing on the 2013-2014 school-year budget. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of the Park Avenue Elementary School and will begin at 7 p.m. To see what else will be discussed at the meeting, view the agenda here. 

Local Meetings

• The Freehold Borough Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, March 27. The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. It will be held in the conference room of Borough Hall.
• All Freehold Borough Offices will be closed on March 29 in observance of Good Friday.
• The Freehold Township Recreation Commission is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, March 27. The meeting will be held at Michael J. Tighe Park and will begin at 7:30 p.m.
• The Freehold Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Thursday, March 28 in the Freehold Township Municipal Building.

Economic Update

An informative workshop on what is going on in the economy today effecting retirement, college savings, daily budget will be given by Entrepreneurial Think Tank for Moms on Wednesday, March 27.  For more information about this event, visit its listing here.

Racer’s Club

The Freehold Racer’s Club will meet on Tuesday, March 26 at the Court Street School. It is free to join the model car club for students between kindergarten and sixth grade. For more information about this week’s meeting, visit the club’s event listing.
